In our steady commitment to the belief that every child deserves a loving home, Yalla Kafala launched an inspiring campaign titled 'Every Child Deserves a Loving Home' in collaboration with LaunchGood platform.

Yalla Kafala has achieved Zakat-eligible status, verified by LaunchGood. This significant milestone enabled us to channel the power of Zakat contributions towards our noble cause, encouraging people to donate generously to make a profound impact in the lives of orphan and kafala children and help us achieve our campaign’s objectives.

Accomplishments:

Kafala Awareness Campaigns: Launched powerful digital awareness campaigns that reached over 900K users and shine a light on the importance of alternative care systems for orphans.
In-Kind Donations (Support of Kafala Families): Brought comfort to families in need through the provision of essential items like breast pumps, clothes, toys, strollers, and bedding.
Kafala Family Support Center: Guided over 2000 families through the kafala process, making the journey smoother and less stressful for all involved.
Community Engagement: Gathered over 600 kafala families at community events, fostering a sense of belonging and support.
School Scholarships: Facilitated opportunities for kafala children to receive a quality education and reach their full potential through scholarships at 7 national and international preschools.
MoSS Representation: Appointed by the Ministry of Social Solidarity as one of the primary providers of mandatory kafala training.
Mandatory Training: Delivered mandatory training to over 150 kafala parents in 7 governorates, empowering them with the knowledge and skills to care for a healthy thriving family.
Partnerships: Delivered a positive discipline program in partnership with Procter & Gamble, promoting healthy and effective child-rearing practices.
Yalla Kafala Home: Acquired a four-floor building to serve as the YK headquarters for operations, training, and the future location for the pilot program of "belt sagheer/little home"; a permanent home for 6-10 children and two kafala parents.
